Incubated a bunch of beardies @ 83 degrees, day 65 they all hatch out. One comes out with 2 bodies, and 1 head! the head is a bit larger than it should be but quite interesting nonetheless.. Like something out of "aliens"

Anyone seen this before? Every other hatchling is healthy.

that would be siamese twins joined at the head. i have seen it before, but not on a bearded dragon. your hatchling will almost definately die, but when it does, i highly recommend that u preserve it in some way because these things come along very rarely, and if u dont want to keep it, u can sell it for big bucks. and dont worry, this is not a genetic condition, your other hatchlings are fine and it is not your fault that this happened. basically, the embryo was going to split into identical twins, but did not split all the way, hence conjoined twins.

Yes, it did die within a few hours. Who would be interested in it?

Frozen...soon after death, shoulda used fermaldahide (sp) probably though... Or alcohol.

if u keep it frozen, it can always be chemically preserved later on. i would love to buy it/them from u as i collect natural oddities.
