I have named her
Naomi~!

I like that name~

As of right now she still hasn't bitten me yet. Only a bit flighty when I hold her....but shes getting there...

she is my pet and not for breeding~!

About the tail..
well it was born like that.
From right out of the egg to now....so I guess its a little deformed...lol...

but it still eats and poops~ so who cares~

And its my little pet~!!

She's absolutely gorgeous Simon -- that white is amazing!! Did any of her siblings come out with colour like that, or just her?

very nice indeed
is that the same kind thats in the back of the cornsnake manual?

Clownfishie,

Nope. Out of all those hatchlings that Kathy produced, she was able to produce 2 of them. 1st one was back in 1999 and that is the one from the back of the corn snake manuel. The 2nd one is this one. Which was produced last year in 2003.

I do have 2 females that are full siblings to these hi white okeetees though~ so I hope that these hi whites are genetical and will pass on the hi white genes.

Kathy's hi white female on the back of the manuel has been producing slugs every year. If she continue to produce slug this year I might pick her up from Kathy and I'll have both of the hi white okeetees. Not for breeding though...just for pets. Why? Cause I like them.....and they will be moving to Asia with me when I move~ hahahhhaa
They are just too attractive for me to pass them to another person~

Darryl,
Hey, you're always welcome to come over and take a look at her in real life~ Just as long as you tell me~ LOL

ChokeOnSmoke,
yes it is the same kind from the back of the corn snake manuel. Naomi is that hi white okeetee's full sibling sister~

She is growing well and looking great, despite her missing tail. Great to see photos of her again - look forward to seeing her grow up and would be great if you can get the other one from Kathy,

Mary,

Yeah I am really hoping to get the other one from Kathy...but at the same time I do'nt want to get it from her...cause if I don't get her...that means Kathy will be able to get some eggs from her. And I hope that this is more or less genetical than to just get these two in my stock as pets only~
cause I myself can see a hi demand for these ~~

Stav,

Agree!!
I too think that she is one of the best and nicest morph out there. Hands down for sure! But its really too bad that she isn't really breedable...I don't even know if this is genetical or even breedable.....I would bet that she is a female...but heck....how are the males to lift her tail to breed? LOL....

I wouldent worry about breeding i'm sure a male will find the way to breed her.

Good luck!

personally, would not consider it prudent to breed an animal with such an extreme deformity, despite her absolutly breathtaking coloration. she is a real looker!

Really? You think that she is still breedable that way?

I don't know....
it might be a male....LOL....you never know~~

but either way I dont think that I'll be breeding it....just don't want the gene of tailless to be floating around the corn world....LOL

is this the corn on the front page of your website?

LOL all those morphs and you don't want tailess ones, too? :p j/k. I agree though, don't want to be potentially passing down any weak genes or defects to offspring.

corrado,

Nope the one on my web site has passed on a year ago....she was a sweety...even though with some temperment...but I did keep back some of her offspring...so hopefully they'll be as nice as her~~

Linds,
Yup. Most definitely...
I mean even if I don't see any tailess ones in the F1, there are chances that they'll be tailess in the F2 and this being genetical...and if I sell some of the F1s out and other people start breeding them....LOL..this could get into a big mess...more or less kind of like the LTR with 'gold fish eyes' .....

So no...not even going to try to breed her~ Just going to grow her up slowly and stay as my little baby~
