My hatchlings are set up in my new hatchling rack I made specifically for them, so I'm still getting the humidity and temperature worked out so it's perfect. Using the dimmer makes it a little more difficult to get the exact temperature you're striving for. Anyway I was wondering if I should keep the hot end any warmer than 27C? The main room temperature (my room) is typically 20-22 this time of year, with it a little higher in the winter.

As for humidity, I have the water bowl on top of the heat tape so that it will create some humidity. I don't want the hatchlings to have a bad shed especially since this is their first shed, so should I add in anything like a sphagnum moss shed box? I'm hoping the humidity from the water bowl will be enough. The simple rack type setups they're in have them on paper towels with two hide spots (and a water bowl).

Thanks :)
