ive had my brb for three weeks now, and i havent seen it exploring around its enclosure once. things ive read said that they arent active snakes, but i would think that it would move around more than this. when i handle her, she is very active, just not in her enclosure. is anyone else's brb like this?

mine are very inactive during the day, they ussually hide out in their humid box during the day, and are out at night. this is the way the brb is.

Mine are the most boaring snake I have! Next to my sand boas that is. I keep mine in 33g tanks laid on their sides with humid hides and every time I want to see them I have to take out the hide and lift the lid. If I had to cut one boa from my collection it would be them for sure.
Cheers,
Trevor
My BRB is tremendously active at night. During the day he just chills out but when I come home in the wee hours of the morning he is still cruisin around. You have to watch them at night to see them do anything really.

how old is it? BC's tend to be active as youngsters, but once they reach their full size they are slugs. in the cage i mean. some individuals can be very curious and exploratory when handled, but within the enclosure they do nada.

sometimes they are not very active, but they make up in beauty.

They may be lazy and just lay around but they are one of the most beautiful boas ever. When they shed, there is nothing that can top the color coming off thier body.
Well ive noticed that when my BRB eats it usually isnt as active the next few days for obvious reasons but it does cruise alot of the time. I wouldnt worry about it too much. As long as everything is okay requirement wise dont worry.

Hmmmmm, my "Promise" cruises around in the evening some, and during the day to thermoregulate. The heat is situated at the rear of the rubbermaid, so in the evenings I get to "see" her as she slithers along the front of the tank :)
