After fast suggestions needed

Well both my BPs finally came out of their eating slumber after five months and have eaten again. I had no problem with the female as she ate a rat as she did before the fast. With the male I made the mistake of offering a mouse after a number of failed attempts with a rat. Now the questions...

Shall I offer a rat first off and not go back to mice?

Shall I offer a mouse scented rat and begin the mice to rat conversion?

Any suggestions would be great as I do not want another mouse eater in the family. One IJCP is enough!

I would first try the mouse scented rat, and see if he is interested. The sooner you get him onto rats the better.
