It's been a while since I've posted over here. I'm sure some of you remember me and others know me from the ssnakess Rhacodactylus forum.

Anyway, this little silvery looking Irian Jaya is from my second IJ clutch this year. The father is my GQ (very light colored) male who is F1 CBB from WC adults and the mother is a normal looking (dark) ten year old LTC (imported in the mid 90's). This was the mom's first clutch.

This little one hatched about two weeks ago. I noticed her color (or the lack thereof) the moment she poked her head out of the egg.

Here's a pic taken just after she emerged from the egg...

...and here are some post-shed pics. I've put a more typically colored sibling in there for reference.

I'm curious to know if any of you IJ breeders over here have had a similarly colored IJ hatchling and if so, what do they look like now.

Wow, what a beauty!!! That should make for a high contrast adult for sure.

Those are some great pics... and beautiful babies! :) That lighter one is definitely very different looking -- it'll be very interesting to see how she turns out!

Congrats :)
