Think. Heh heh, would I have included the "roll-eyes", the "tongue-wagging", and the "confused" smiley faces if I indeed believed them to actually be captive bred Savannas for $14??? LOL!!

Although I never stated anything bad about the ad, I think its implied. ;)

to get them into canada from the usa you'd need cites paperwork anyways. if i could get them for $14 each cb into canada i'd buy them all.

Is this price becuase the us market is much better or is it just an odd low price?

it's either a typo, the person doesn't know what they're worth or they're *ahem* not *ahem* captive bred.

I was once offered c.b. savanna monitors in Canada for $25 each.

As it turns out, they were c.h. - which looks on paper kind of like c.b. - but does not mean the same thing, whatsoever. Actually, it means that eggs were taken from females and hatched in Africa and sent to Canada - and they come in to the U.S for cheaper than $14 each. There is a very large number of baby savannas shipped out of Africa that otherwise would be wild babies - it really sucks - I wish more people would devote the effort to actually breeding the things - before there are no wild females in Africa to collect eggs from.

Just thought maybe my story might have related, some how, remotely.

To Be honest I cant remember the last time I saw CB Savs before.

Alot of pet shops will lable them as cbs and they do this with other animals aswell like balls and whatnot.

IMO just lable them what they are they will sell just the same.
