well today was an extremely good b-day...when i got up this morning my best friend was at the door with my present (Torch Song Trilogy dvd, written by and starring Harvey Fierstein, LOVE THAT MAN!), then i went of to "Sal's", a local pizza place, for lunch with the fam., after racking up 270 bucks, and a really cool reptile photography book from the Sis, i went to the mall with my B.S (Big Sis) and saw 2 movies (Dodge Ball and The Stepford Wives(for the 2nd time)). And then when i get home i found all the caging stuff i need for my new snakes(Which was my mother's present, the snakes that is the caging equip. was for the grandparents)! woop woo!!!

ahhhh...life is good!!!

wooooo...im wiped im thinking bed??? maybe...i dunno!

Just remind your parents that not only do teh herps keep you out of trouble but you also get to learn alot about reptiles and the natural history behind them.

They keep me outta trouble...most of the time ;) haha. It's mostly my mother that resents the herps, my dad's slowly gettin the point and starting to appreciate them :D.

that's one thing about living with one parent (divorced when i was 5) i only have to go thru my mom with stuff like this, there's no "go ask your mother.." or "go ask your father...". lol. but anyway, my mom was kinda reluctant about my first snake, i think she said something to the effect of "NOT UNTIL' YOU MOVE OUT!!!" but of course we went into the pet store (they took awesome care of there herps!) and we saw the most beautiful little albino california king, and it was all over but the crying, well, maybe not crying, but it was all over except something...but, anyway, thank you HeRpZ03 for the Be-lated birthday wishes!

I got the "not until you move out" thing before lol and my smart @$$ comment was "i'm moving out 2morrow" :). I found a way that allowed me to keep my reptiles, i just brought them home knowing that my mom would be to scared to touch them so she didn't bother me or my reptiles, and tends to stay out of my room now! :D (another great advantage to having reptiles!) Happy Herping! :)

hmm... i was going to claim i had to rescue a snake from a terrible keeper, she'd have a hard time saying no to that, but maybe i'll just bring one home and not say a word to her and see what happens. after all, it's not like she'd be removing it...

Wen i still had lizards i kept them in the living room for a month cuz my cousin was living in my room. Keeping the herps in da living room rele ticked my mom off and when my crickets escaped....woooooo weeeee my whole family went ballistic on my @$$. bought a box of 250 and only fed bout 50 to my beardy and closed da box off with tape(planning on putting the rest of the crickets in a 20 gal..but totaly forgot) and they all escaped.
