can i hit 2 birds with 1 stone by giving my beardie a bath in the tupperware outside to keep it warm.it's about 90 something dgrees outside.also when i take my beardie outside after like 10 min. he starts to open his mouth.i know thats to cool him self off but -should he have to?no matter how hot it gets outside it ain't gonna get hotter then the hot end of the cage.

From what i read and lead to beleave if he gets to hot he will simply move to a cooler area, from time to time i release my guy onto my desk inwhich his encloser is on. He moves up to my desk lamp becuase its just as good as the heatlamp in his cage. Its probibly alittle hoter thought and after a short time he opens his mouth, shortly after he will move away and return after, he seems perfectly able to keep his temps decent.

Question about batheing, good for any age? Iv read many caresheets and read almost nothing about batheing, should i wash him down, let him soak, just get a cloth style to clean his toes up. I no nothing about it.

most BDs like to bathe some dont. if you bathe them outside you will probably see a tempermant shift. They can get quite mean looking when approached, puffing their beard and gaping o show teeth. I bathe my guys outside once every few weeks and they all seem to like it.

if you want them outside for UVB they need to get at least an hour prefferably more.

so just stick them in water, and let them relax, time period?
