View Full Version : Airing?
How long should I let a finished enclosure dry? A week is enough, right? Is less than a week not enough? It's water based sealent, btw.
Thanks
Zoe
Turn all the heating and lighting on, let it sit for a day. If you can not smell it then your good to go. If you can smell it then you need to wait longer. They basic rule is if you can smell it its not ready. Heat will make paint gas again so you want to run your heating equipment and lighting equipment while its curing to make sure. Or to have it cure in a hot place or directly in sunlight.

yeah I close the top for a day and then smell it, and the heat should be on. Pete was right on.
Good point rev,
I forgot to mention that you should have it set up like your going to use it, IE: closed.
