I'm a new corn owner and have just moved to a new apartment. The apartment is on the second floor and tends to get very warm. I have an UTT heater and that makes it way too hot so I haven't used it. I also have a red heat bulb and that too is hard to regulate. If I don't use any heat source the temp in the tank fluxuates from 75-85. 75 in the evening--85 during the day. Is that alright? I do have a fan in the room that keeps the air circulating.
help me out if'n you can!!
thanks!

I would say those temps are too low...they should be at a constant 90ish on the warm end and probably 78-80ish on the cool side. You can use the heat pad with a thermostat to change the temp

I keep mine at 88F hot side and 75F cool side 24/7.
If you go to a pet store and buy a thermostat, it will control the heat pad and keep at whatever temp you set it to. The only variable will be the ambient temp. If the ambient temp is too warm the heat pad won't be on.
What you want is something similar to this...
