I have the acu-rite hygrometer-when i was measuring the temps i taped the end of the probe cord to something and the little probe thing was sticking in the air a little bit(the probe does not stick any more)well i did that and the temps were low and then i taped the probe to the item and it was reading higher temps.what is wrong does the back of the probe have to face the heat source(thats what it seems like).i don;t know what temps are the right ones the high or low ones?(weird)Also is 108 degrees a good basking temp for a baby dragon?what part of the probe actually measures the temp?if the probe is not sticky any more(it's not) is iy ruined?
