Crazy story. Man finds wife partially eaten by lion. So he takes revenge by putting poison on the body and waiting.

With the bad english and spelling mistakes, I'm fairly sure that this story is a hoax. Funny as hell though...

even if it is fake I don't know if I would call it funny. I mean if some lion came and killed my wife I wouldn't poisen it , but I don't know if I could think of anything bad enough to do to it......

What bad english and spelling mistakes? I didn't see either in the article.

All I can think is: How did he convince police that the poison got there AFTER the lion instead of before? A victim of a tragic starving lion attack and NOT a guy who poisoned his wife then fed her to a lion. Which makes more sense to you?

He must tell a good story.

I failed to see the bad grammar/spelling. Besides, I doubt it's a hoax if it's being reported by the BBC website. Not exactly the Enquirer now...

Funny story though. Dude really thinks outside the box. Could've just shot the lion, but I guess some people are just blessed with a creative mind.

I agree a very creative mind. Poison the wife, leave the body in the bushes for a lion to find, then add a bit more poison after, wait for the lion to return before you call the police and there are no questions and all incriminating evidence is suddenly accounted for.

It's an interesting story, but I don't have an opinion on whether it's a hoax or not.

The BBC website has previously reported the urban legend of the man who travels from one country to another, only to have the prostitute he orders turn out to be his daughter. Some reporter got lazy and was cheating. So it's not the first case of a fib making the news.
