Hi, I recently bought a Okeetee adult male cornsnake, its about 4 1/2 feet, I dont have enough money for a bigger tank at the moment so i am keeping it in a 15 until i can get a thirty, will it be ok for about 2 weeks?
thanks,
mike

You probably should have got the tank before the corn.

That doesn't really answer his question now does it?
Although he was right about getting the tank before the snake, he should be ok.. just a bit cramped. Get the bigger tank ASAP.

I would go get a sweater box rubbermaid for now.

Exactly what I was thinking, ten bucks will get you all the rubbermaid you need.

Yes, I'd highly recommend getting a rubbermaid. A 15 gallon is NOT enough space for an adult corn snake. In fact, it's not even close to being enough.

not directed entirely at you Mikeymike.......
but
Is it just me or have there been alot of people saying "I got *insert speicies here* is *so and so size cage* big enough, or do I need something bigger/smaller?

What are the measurements of a 15 gallon anyway? I'm not sure why liquid measurements are used rather than inches or centimeters, I've always found it confusing.
I know 15 is relatively small though and I'm still sure that a 24" X 16" X 5" rubbermaid goes for about $10/CDN, mininmal but sufficient for an adult corn. Buy me a couple of those and I'll give you an aquarium big enough for an adult corn, I have a stack of them. lol!

I've got a 50 qt rubbermaid right now for my small corn...when it get's bigger, Walmart sells a 28 GAL that I'll probably go to.

Wow... 15 gallon? Ok, for some reason I read something completley different, I think I'm losing my mind.
Yes, I agree... that's too small, go with a rubbermaid.. like everyone else suggested.

If you go with the rubbermaid make sure you secure the lid somehow or you will go to check on your corn and see an empty rubbermaid.

Get the ones with the locking lids and you'll be fine.
