Nice clutch - I must be the only one who doesn't see my females laying - they always do it overnight.

Congrats on the new clutch - very nice big female!

Only two more hondo clutches, doubt that from you Mr. Favelle, the way you fed those girls the past year, I am ready to bet they will drop a second clutch without you re-introducing their respective boyfriends and you know what...

You will still have 100% hatch rate from those second clutches...lol

By the way, that female looks very familiar...

Congrats buddy

Ha ha Marc, this female should be VERY familair!! LOL! She's that beauty het spotted! I was gonna breed her with the albino, but I decided to make more spotteds/reduced patterns and then I'll just hold a pair of them back. Looks like 10 eggs, which was the same as last year, but this year I think she'll double clutch! Should be awesome!

Thanks bro. You ARE the Hondo KING! :D

From last year from a pair of Hondos bought from Marc Bouchard:

Taking her sweet-a$$ time. Still one egg to go, so I'll stop bothering her until morning. 10 eggs is the count. Hopefully she'll eat tomorrow and be on the road to another clutch! heh heh...

Jeff, the 2003 hatchling is unreal, did you end up holding this one back, those go for crazy coin down south...

Can you imagine F2's from this spotted line or better yet, getting the albino mutation in there,, ya baby...

I should of kept them eh!

106 eggs cooking for the Hondos now Brian. I got one more clutch that's guaranteed, with another possible one after that. Then, any of the ones that decide to double clutch.

Thanks!! :D

Marc, the only thing sillier than you selling me the pair, was me selling that baby pictured above! LOL!! I WON'T make the same mistake this year! :D

Thanx Jen!! And as for being a nest-box convert, I am SOLD! Ha ha ha! When Roy and Simon speak or say something about colubrids, it makes sense to listen, LOL!! I've always done it without, but they are more colubrid guys than I am, so when they said it was easier, I totally believed them! I'm getting the same success rate, but its much easier and much less maintenance/worry. They were right, so I made the switch as soon as I had that first clutch!!

Albinos in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good job~!!!

I tell you, a lot of people just like sticking with what words for them.....and you took our advice and changed your set up and found that you like it better.

I am definitely proud of you!!!

Really a lot of people don't listen to other's advice AT ALL!! LOL!!

Hey man, if guys who have been keeping colubrids for 60 years (ha ha sorry Royster!!) and keep 800+ corns say that nest boxes are better, I ain't about to argue. I had killer success my old way, but I definitely saw the light at the end of the ......nest box. LOL!!

I just thank you guys for the advice! You ROCK! :D

LOL...true. But as you know (and you have properly ran into these people too) that no matter how many times and how much you tell them, they just never listen....LOL....

That is why I am real proud of a person that would accept new changes and new methods. Heck I too am looking for new methods in breeding my animals~~ there is always a different way that just might be better than what I am doing~~

So listening to advice is very important~~
