I am wondering how everyone does their humidity for thier BRB's in thier cages. I want to know the type of cage and how you do the humidity. I am just curious.
Thanks.

Well most people use rubbermaids to keep their humidity up. Its probably the easiest way to do it. I use a tank but I have made a custom acrylic top so it serves the same purpose. I just like to be able to see my snake at all times. Thats the only real negative to rubbermaids IMO.

you can do a couple things.
1. mist the cage frequently
2. put a water dish on the warm side of the tank
3. make moist hides and keep them damp at all times.
4. use sphagnum moss or reptibark as substrate because they hold humidity well.

Yup...moist sphagnum moss AND the water dish over the heat source. Depending on what you're using for the heat source, you may still need to spray down the moss daily.

I keep my BRB in a rubbermaid, with newspaper as the substrate. The water dish is about 1/2 on the warm side, and the humidity is always at about 85%.
