That's a spotted!!
You realize they were one and same a few years back before taxonomists decided to split them up, so references in books call them all Childrens Pythons,(including Stimpsoni) but the large blotches on that one is characteristic of whats now called maculosis(spotted Python)

Bulls eye - One of the risks of seeking opinions on forums is learning who to believe. Many people will state what they think in attempts to be helpful, not everyone has the experience or knowledge to back up their opinion.

It is often useful to review the previous posts by a user to develop a sense of their knowledge. You can click on their user name next to their post and then click on the option to Search for all Posts by this User. I find it more helpful than basing a decision on the number of people with any given opinion.

Sorry, I don't know which one your snake is, but I know whose opinion I trust,

Yep definately a spotted, I've got 1.2 and they look just like that! Children's that I've seen all have really prominent eyes compared to spotteds. Good luck with your breeding efforts next year, hope you can find a mate.

That's a Spotted from what I can tell! I have 1.1 Spotted Pythons, and yours looks a lot like mine. I know that they can easily get confused as Children's Pythons at a glance. If you could provide a better pic with a head shot, it would be a lot easier to tell.
