This post is in memory of my beautiful cat Cuddles. I had her put down at the age of 20+. She meant everything to me. She is the one who taught me my love for animals and gave me more than I could have ever expected. I will miss her very much and I will never forget all the great things the fuzzy little girl showed me. Sorry for the sad post but I think it is good for me.. :(

My condolances. At twenty plus years, she sure lived a long time. A testament to the good care you must have given her.

My condolances on your loss, it is always sad to lose a a beloved pet. You can be thankful for the many happy years you were fortunate to share. Twenty years is a lifetime of memories, and as much as it stings now, you will have many happy memories to tickle you when the pain of your loss subsides.

May the sun shine on you for the next few days, it will remind you of the sparkle in her yellow eyes

Jeez, that sucks. I've only ever had a mamalian pet for 6 years, but that really hurt - I can't imagine what it is like for you after 20 years.

Very sorry to hear. My condolences.

I too have an old cat that is nearing the 23 year old mark, and i dont know what i would do if i had to put her down..

My sincere condolances. I can't imagine losing a pet after that much time, but I know I'll have to deal with that myself someday. (I tend to get VERY attached to animals.) Remember, immortality is the way that memories live on, even when the person (or cat) isn't there to create new ones anymore.
