The min size is 4'x2'
They need A LOT of space!
Have you read the caresheet at www.deerfernfarms.com ? This is full of excellent info that you'll need to know!

What is that in gallon?
50 gallon tank, they need a lot of space and try to provide moe if possible. Mine were ALWAYS active and running arond to explore things.

I will try get one but they are pretty expensive. Ill try find a used one.
I think it could also be a 75 gallon. But the # of gallons doesn't matter at all! It's most important for them to have enough floor space to move around in. And VERY important for you to create a heat gradient of 80F on the cool side, and 100F on the hot side with a basking spot of 130F. And you CANNOT do that in a smaller area.
This species is a great animal, but you MUST make sure you can take proper care of them! They definitely need the space, heat, and low humidity, and don't forget that they eat primarily vegetables only. If you can't take care of these needs, your animal will suffer and die.
If you have any questions, please ask, so we can help make sure your animal is safe and happy! :)

I would even suggest not meat at all, if you give them the right vegetables they wont need it. That link that was given is excellent!
I have my uromastyx in a custom made, melamine, 4x1.8x1.8 enclosure with sliding glass front. It is doing excellent. From the calulations i was given they told me it was around 79 gallon, but as nicki said, that doesnt matter. Try and give it the most floor space possible as they are terrible climbers :)
Ya, I've offered mine the odd worm, but they usually won't take it. They love their veggies though! :)

thanks, How often do you guys feed your uro?
I put fresh greens in every day or two, and always leave a mix of crushed dried beans in there.
