Well the little guy in combination with his ladies are makin me prouder everyday. He just didn't seem to have it in him but what do I know:D Not as pretty or as many as the first batch but I love em just the same.

Wow! You're pretty lucky for the eggs! Hope they all hatch! Do you have any tips for me who wants to breed my 4 years old female? I dropped her temperature during the whole winter, didnt feed her until March, and now i guess i have to feed her tons of rats during the summer... I dont have the male yet, but actually looking for a mature one in the Montreal region... How long did you keep your breeders together and at what time? ( between what weeks aproximatly??? )? Thanks for the help, i would REALLY want my little Dulcinée to get babies!!!

Well first off ya definitely need a male and like you did feed her as much as she'll eat drop her temps again this fall for a few months and then star putting the male in with her and if she'll eat when you start warming her back up again feed her the more food the better at that point. If they breed then leave them together a few days and then seperate a few days and put them back together keep doin that till she ovulates or they won't breed anymore.

Simple, ya DON'T drop the temperatures if you want to breed Balls. You have a night time low of around 70-75F and regular day time highs. You don't brumate like colubrids.

Yeah, but my rather obvious point is that CYCLING a Ball Python is not the same as BRUMATING a corn snake. Most breeders CYCLE Ball Pythons. Cool nights, warm days. Corns are just cooled down to a specific temperature for 3 months.

Save for Diamonds and maybe Rubbers and boeleni, that's NOT the way to condition a boid for breeding.

Oooops thought my post was OBVIOUS as well but should have further stated it's a night time drop. But I also have too state that I myself do not go back to regular summer day time highs during cooling as you state you do Jeff. I shoot to make it into the 80's if it gets there I'm happy, never reach 85 in the winter though
