Got a large wolf spider with an egg sack out of some guy’s house 2 weeks ago. Of course, his first instinct was to kill it, but he recalled I do a lot of work with venomous animals, so he scooped it up and brought it to me. The eggs hatched over the weekend, looks to be a couple hundred of the little guys in there. Taking them to a naturalist at the nature center today to be released into the wild. This post was mainly for the tree-huggers who cry about me taking and not giving back. ha ha!

Awww, that's nice.

I'm going to do the same when my baby jumpers emerge from their sac, let them go.
Its been real interesting seeing them develop from eggs, to little eggs with legs, to tiny jumpers now. I can see them when I hold the jar up to the light.

But I'm keeping Mama for my pet! She's emerged from her position guarding the sac, and is eating up a storm!
Too, too cute.
