Hello
hahaha, since you were concerned about runaway T's...
When I feed the arboreals, I slide the bottom door up just a crack, and mist in distilled water to coat a wall for drinking, and then insert food. The lid is not open but a little. For the past two feedings, one of my P. regalis slings has ran out the cage door!! Same sling, too, its Boo, my little one.
The first time it happened, it hit the living room carpet and bolted as fast as its tiny legs could go. I jumped ahead of it and put the cage in front of her and she ran in. I resolved to open it less the next time.
So, even though I was being careful, she shot through the crack again! Landed in the cricket bin, and ran across it. Again I placed the cage in front of her, and she went in. Haha, little rascal. Gave me quite the scare!
I will be sneakier next time!
Enjoy your slings!
