i dont think you are suppose to mist malis tanks
No malis do not need much humidity at all, they are from the desert. Dont worry about shedding at all, they take their sweet old time when it coems to that. It can take up to over a week because rather then coming off in large pieces it comes off in little bits. Still good to give them baths though.
Good luck

Uros hate water, and if kept humid can get severe tail and skin rot. Be sure that when you feed greens or fruits that they are plenty moist. That is how they will get their moisture. You will need a tank with a good temp variance. About 80-82 on the cool side, up to 95+ on the hot. They love to bask and require UV lighting. The food should be finely chopped and you will soon learn what they do and do not like:D They shed rather patchy, but do not bath them, just wait it out.

Yeah they love the heat, I had temps just like Tim and JulieB said, and a basking of about 110F they they were always switching between.
