Snapped a fast one for kicks! Here's my lovely striped coastal cal king, I purchased from Henry P. She laid eggs this year (not for me). So now I'm just fattening her up. She's a great eater, and has a great personality. I can't stop looking at her.

Nice! She MUST be related to the girl I had last year from Henry. They look identical.

Very nice Katt. :)

Now don't you think she belongs here with my male, Katt?
(seriously)

Not there, but maybe here.

At the show I picked her up, I saw a beautiful male, that would go with her exactly, but I'm not sure why I didn't get him. Considering, we have four adult cal kings and not a male between us.

Very neat looking girl - they look so different when they are striped! Looks like she is fattening up nicely for you - substantial girl.

Interesting cage - looks like it is a humid box under a full cage?? nice idea - is that corrugated plastic? How do you hold it together??

Yes, it is a humidity box under a full cage. I had a pic of one somewhere around here, but can't find it. I have three cages for my three cal kings, and they were built by Larry Moore. Ryan and Sheila purchased the cages from Larry (he originally kept Egyptian cobras in them). That was a few years ago and now I have them. They must be at least a decade old, they are made of press board with a melamine lining inside, mesh for the top, plexi for the front, and corrugated plastic for the humid hide underneath.
They're a bit rough looking, but there's something about them, that I like.
