Just wondering if anyone out there had any really good ones to share, I have been using the following for a short while now:
16 oz. Ed's Special breakfast (oatmeal style dried cereal with 20 whole grains mixed in it, not a processed product).
12 oz. Spirulina algae or Lake Klamath Algae
10 0z. Bee Pollen Granules
6 oz. Milled corn
6 oz. crushed Millet
Interestingly enough, I notice after my crickets have been on this diet a week to ten days many of them are turning a golden brown color (bee pollen ??) As far as water goes I provide my crix and worms with orange slices, potato, sweet potato, green leafy vegetables (not spinach), squash, carrots and apple slices.
Anyone else have any good ones? Homemade ideas tend to be far better than any of those you can buy I have found, far less chemical additives etc. which coukd harm your animals.
