Cork bark looks kinda like the outside wood/bark of a tree but it's cork. Its from the cork tree ;)

You can buy it from most pet stores. I know it's sold at most PJ's Pet Centres. I think many reptile shops sell it. I might have a pic of it to show you.

Okay, do they sell it in a bag or seperate pieces. I have never seen it at our Big Al's store here in Kitchener.

You won't find it in Aquarium Services because it is not really aquarium related. I know there is a lot of stuff you can get from AS for a vivarium but cork bark isn't one of them.

Cork bark is sold in pieces. PJ's sells it for something like $12.99/lb but keep in mind that cork bark is really light (like cork) so you get pretty big pieces. The pieces range from really small to really large. They sell it in a bin with the weight recorded on a tag attached to it.

I get mine from www.corkstore.com. Look under "specialties."

If you go to a place like PetSmart, ask them if they have pieces in the back. I happened to notice some huge cork tubes in the back. They broke them apart when they needed em on the floor. I was able to purchase for a fraction of what it would cost to buy a bunch of small pieces.
