hi all.
has anyone used the ron tremper incubater method?
i am thinking about giving it a try all i want to know is
is it worth the risk??(sorry if this has been asked before)
please put any success or failures.(should i have started a poll?)

It's a hot debate on any forum. Most people who have given their experiences have had problems. If you have an extremely accurate incubator, it's worth a shot, but for normal hobby breeders it's risky. Ron Tremper can swing it, he's got the top of the line incubators, but does yours measure up?

we tried this method with our first clutch just not to the point that ron tremper does......we increased our temps with these two eggs about two and a half weeks before they hatched and ended up with bright and dark colors (yellow and white were bright and crisp, and the black colors were almost jet black) i'll post some pics of our babies in my next post.......we increased the temps from about 82 to about 88-89 degrees, but like i said, we did this two and a half weeks before they hatched
