Thanks guys! and yes, I am very proud of this group. They are wonderful to work with. I'll post some others later tomorrow. I'm having a little trouble with figuring out where the my gallery link is, without looking for a post with my name on it that shows the little camera icon next to it.

Hey Will,
The blacks are going to be bred sometime soon, like next week or this one probably. I have the one male servicing some other females in the collection for the moment, and he won't be free till next week. LOL! The male is a Dave Barker, VPI, male on loan to me from Dave. He is not as dark as these gals, but should make some nice babies if they take. I have the one male in the photo, but he is not ready this year, unfortunately, so there won't be any action from this guy yet.

As for the Borneo's, they bred for me this year, and only one of the girls produced any eggs, but they too were a flop. The entire clutch was infertile. Ouch!

I caught them breeding again just the other day, but this time it was the other gal, Lee. Hoping to get something from them too. I'll keep you posted on any progress here on.

Cheers!

Hey Will,
Yeah, I don't blame you. LOL! Once you work with these guys, there is no going back. Get in touch with Jeff Hartwick, he's the guy to get some really black babies from. I think that he bred them this year. I'd definately get in with him. I'll keep you posted if I get anything this year. Where are you located?
Cheers!

Do you know if Jeff Hartwick does exports to Canada? I'd import them by the dozen if they are as black as that last pic.

Hey,
I'm not sure if he does, but it wouldn't hurt to get in touch with him. I'll send you his information. He's a very cool guy and very easy to deal with. I think that if you did a google search, you might even come up with his site URL, give it a whirl.
I remember Grant, having some amazing black bloods one time, you should ask him if he knows of anyone selling any or if he's got a contact for them. I recall him having and selling this amazing male last year. Man! I sure could've used that male. Oh well!

Hey,
Yeah! he is really nice looking. I can't wait for them to produce a clutch for me; that is, him and the female. They did breed for me, and she did produce a clutch, but was unfortunately, infertile too. Hoping for better results next year.

What a collection! The blacks are by far the blackest I've seen. The borneos are beautiful! That RED one is absolutely stunning. And I must say, your sumatran bloods have the CLEANEST pattern, and nicest butter-drip stripe I've seen...
Real quality animals. Incredible collection, all are just amazing!!

Hey Yve,
Thanks for the compliment! Your black blood, is going to be killer. Where'd you get him from? It is so hard finding really nice blacks. It's one of them untapped markets. Although, it's probably better in some ways, keeps them special!

Hey Will,
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. Do you know UKBob? He's got an amazing black blood collection in the UK, and he might have bred them this year. Check out the Kingsnake gallery of his Black blood collection; they are amazing animals. Anyhow, good luck at the Hamburg show. Hope you get lucky!

I cant help looking at those pics! They are sooooooooooooooooooo nice!!! If you ever have ANY of them up for grabs, let me know!

Chris

How are their temperaments?(sorry if this has already been asked).

Hey Chris,
You know, each and every one of these animals is pleasant and easy to work with. I got very lucky, or they just love me. LOL! But seriously, they are all one hundred percent, tractable, if you will and never offer to bite or threaten with any kind of blood-bluff. Fred, the large Red blood, was once wild as a juvie, but has calmed down like you wouldn't believe. I could take him out of his cage anytime, and handle him, and hold him on my lap with nary a tug or pull; he just chills. The black bloods are all the same as are the Borneo's, just great and wonderful. Thanks for asking!

thanks Angel:) I got him from Grant Vg. What I like best about him is the colour of his head, it can look exactly like pewter at times. Hopefully I will be able to capture that on camera sometime...hasn't happened yet:rolleyes:

Hey,
Just got word a few days ago, that the guy I got my little blacks from has eggs again this year from the very same pair that produced my pair. He is located in the U.S., so I don't know how that would work out for you, but just thought I would put that out there. His name is Jeff Hartwig.
Here is his URL: http://www.jeffhartwig.com/
