3 down, 2 to go!

I finally got 3 of my BPs on f/t rats! I still have a young male and female that are being stubborn. My largest female was given to me and had been eating nothing but mice (one a week :( ) I could never get her to eat over a couple of mice at a time and she would go 2 or 3 weeks without eating. I started raising my own rats and this snake that would only half heartedly go after f/t mice will jerk rats off of the tongs! LOL! My two smallest will eat live rat pups but won't eat f/t and they need bigger meals but I'm not giving them small live rats. I guess I'll just have to be more stubborn than they are, but for now I am really happy with the three that have switched. :D

Everyone says they have problems switching from mice to rats.... I had no problem there, they went right for the rats. My problem is getting them to eat dead. :( I did try the smaller ones on
"lighly gassed" not quite weaned rats and as soon as they twitched a bit they were right on them. I don't like doing that though. Maybe I can use it to work them on to P/K or F/T.
