Went looking for newts, but the water was DEEP and damn cold (ha ha not really, I just didn't wanna get dirty). I was actually collecting branches for the baby Jungles so I brought the camera along for fun.

Very cool... My first "purchased" herp was a newt. :)

So, I guess your ponds don't have ice on them anymore, eh? :D :p

It was nuts man. I've seen Long-toeds in that density, but never Western Red-backs! It was great! But no Red-legged Frogs. That was disappoiting. No tadpoles either. Kind of concerned.

Ha ha "ice" Crannie? What's that? I think the temperatures have to get below freezing for that to happen, LOL! ;)
