This is a pic of my new A. seemanni
This guy was hungry! It has eaten 2 pinkie mice and 4 crickets since we got him yesterday!

That's one good looking garbage disposal you got there.

Thanks Aidan! Clay is my boyfriend, and when he said he wanted a Tarantula, I have to admit I was less than thrilled. :p
Now, since that first rose hair we have aquired a B. vagans, another rose hair, an
A. chalcodes, 3 L. parahybana and this A. seemanni. I think we are hooked! I noticed that you have an A. versicolor, are they really as colorful in real life as they are in pictures I have seen of them? I'm thinking for "my" next T, it will be A. versicolor or A. metalica. Yeh, I've gone from "terrified of spiders" to hooked.

They are really that colourful, from fantastic blue as spiderlings to red/green as adults (see pic). One of the most beautiful tarantulas.

I know we just ordered 5 Chaco Golden Knees today that will be in on Friday. We may have to get a bigger house, we already have 37 snakes, a pit bull,a basement full of rats and mice and a bunch of lobster roaches. Do you think we qualify as animal lovers?

haha definately:)
The good thing about tarantula's is that they don't take up much room (esp. the little ones). From now on I will only buy spiders, seeing as I still live with my parents and I don't have much room left. My mother was not very enthusiastic about the snake, so I don't think I should push my luck;) So many wishes for the future, snakes, lizards, frogs, I think my house will be a real zoo...
