has anyone ever owned or heard of any of the following species?

Olive python or liasis olivaceus olivaceus

papuan python or apodra papuana

black python or python boeleni

scrub python or morelia amethistina

If so please post about your experiences and anything you can tell of these species.

thanx

I would suggest typing in those very names in a search engine and reading caresheets about them, or going to a forum specifically for those species, and browsing.

When it comes to amethistina, take a look at our site here:

www.spitfirereptiles.com (http://www.spitfirereptiles.com)

We keep or have kept almost all of the the various scrub species/locales at some point and we continue to work with a handful of them. We also have a paper we wrote on our experience with Southern amethistina that you may find informative. Be careful of some of the info you may find in your search for info as much of what you find is based largely on folks very limited experiences with single WC specimens. Some of the horror stories you will come across just are not always indicative of the snakes as a whole, just certain specimens.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions.
