I was wondering if anyone owns or knows anything about what I purchased as a Madagascar 4 line plated lizard, but have discoverd is actually a girdled lizard. Is there actually a differnce? I have only been able to find one decent care sheet.
I got it from a pet store, it had scale rot and when i mentioned it to the staff, they told me that they knew but that it would just go away on its own and that it was fine!:(
It hadnt eaten in 3 weeks so when I offerded to buy it for a reduced price the manager agreed. It is really quite friendly, and with a little polysporin and some vitamen E oil its scale rot has cleared right up, well that and not keeping its tank like a freacken swmming pool!! *shakes head* It eats like a horse now too. NEway sob story over, does anyone have any info about special care other than what PerigrenFalcon's care sheet says?
