View Full Version : Salmons anyone
I finally caught one in the act. I knew something was going on tonight and I stayed up to see if I could finally see one of my boas giving birth.
Check it out.
Closeup of them starting to break out of their birth sacks.

Litter was produced by breeding Rich Ihle Possible super salmon (he did not prove out to be a super due to the normals in the litter) possible het for albino bred to huge pastel virgin female. The babies were some of the biggest I have ever seen. The final tally was 25 live and 4 slugs 16 salmons 9 normals.
Enjoy

I already have the RED CROSS alerted to drain me of all but 1 pint of blood and both kidneys ready to transplant once Dan agrees to my offer, lol.
Only need a heart and the passion to love boas to keep me going after that purchase........sweet.

Wow!!! I can't wait to see some future pics of the holdback, stunning. Beautiful litter Dan:)

Thanks everyone it was a long wait for these but well worth it. I could not be happier how they turned out, plus I had alot more salmons than normals.
IB smokin I do still have the Hyper Nics, I will be breeding the male next season to a normal Nic female. I am hoping they prove out co dom.
There were sold to me as bloods but I know they are not. I beleive they are an extreme form of Hypo Nic and the hypo Nics have proved out co dominant so i hope to know next year.
They have actually increased in red coloration as they have aged and are by far some of the most spectacular boas out there.
I will post some pics soon.
Dan
