i've been incubating my leo eggs at 82 steady for almost 40 days now and have decided to up the temperature to 85 as i add more eggs(to get a few males maybe). does temp adjustment this late in the game hurt or help?, or neither?.
I've heard about people upping the temp to get brighter colors, but are there risks of deformity?.

Anyways... what i'm really wondering is with the increased temp how long before i should start seeing hatchlings?

It won't hurt nor help, but you need to adjust the temp slowly. There are huge risks in deformaty if the increase is sudden, so go in increments of half a degree at a time. (82, 82.5, 83, 83.5...etc.) every other day. With the increase being minimal you won't likely see much of a difference. Once you reach the 85 degree it will have an effect of roughly 5 days.
