I don't know much about the camera only that it can take some dang nice close ups. lol. If you want to do a search for it on the net I guess you can search for the hp photosmart 945. It is also a 5.3mp and 56x zoom. That's about all I know about it. Hubby picked it out for me. :) He's the digital wiz and it was the best one for our price range. I did find it on the net though and it has gone down considerably since we bought it. We payed a couple hundred mor than the price on this website not inclueding the tax. So it's nice that it has come down, but it's too bad we didn't have that break. lol.

Thanks!

I'm no professional...even an amateur is pushing the description of my abilities. We were driving past this garage on our way into Tobermory and I looked for a second at it and HAD to turn around to take a picture! What do you think ?

BAZ was that gangeticus from a zoo or of a wild animal. That view point is amazing, the only photograph i have been able to take in a view point like that is the knight anole. It is not a chameleon but is often called a chameleon. Also what kin dof camera are you using? thanks, jason

Brent Strande
10-09-04, 01:35 PM
Paleo- where did you take the shot of the Cuban Knight Anole? I haven't been able to find much info on them. Petco has two of them for sale here and I was quite disappointed that they didn't even know what they were until after a week of their arrival. I was somewhat interested, but would definitely not own them... I have heard that they can get MEAN and pretty large!

Paleosuchus
10-09-04, 02:04 PM
Well Brent this is of a wild caught adult. I live in south florida and frequently visit miami where they are very abundant. Here in fort myers florida, there are some in scattered populations. Hearing that they GET mean is not correct. I have come to the conclusion they are born mean, very vicouse lizards lol. They can get quite large, for an anole anyways. Averaging 15-19 inches with tail. There heads are quite large and bites are not pleasant. They tend to leave teeth behind and jaw presure is amazing. I am sure if they where captive bred they would tolerate humans as most reptiles do when captive bred. But as for getting wild caught adults to get used to you takes time, blood, and alittle skin ;). Hope this helps, jason
