The recipe is coming together at last - I think Sheila (retic chic) said with my previous post on this pair of corns - it sounds like one of grandma's recipes - mix butter and cream together --

20 good ones, no slugs - which is great for this first time butter female.
She looks much thinner and pretty tired - but a bit cleaner after a quick soak in her water dish and her reward of a rat pup!

This girl is one of the yellowest butter corns I have seen - has grown up gorgeous - many thanks to her breeder Annette (Wrapped up in Reptiles) and to Walter who sold her to me! Also many thanks to Ryan and Sheila for letting me have the male cream.
Really looking forward to these babies!
An interesting side note - this female was 15 days post shed and still hadn't shown signs of settling into her laybox - she was doing a lot of searching and 'squeeking' along the plastic with her nose as she tried to dig deeper. I had provided tubs half full of moist spagnum - Rich Z posted some pics on his forum of layboxes that were virtually full of moss- and the suggestion that a full lay box provides for a more secure site that some corns prefer. I topped this one up and she laid that night - maybe coincidence, but she did settle right down once she had a place to dig into - so might be worth considering.
