house gecko help

ok my friend is gunna start getting reptiles........i told him a house gecko is a good beginner reptile and he wants to know if he can house 1 male and 1 female in what size of enclouser and can he keep them toget her

well, if he keeps them together, they're going to breed. so i would definitely tell him that. however, im not sure of the enclosure size. i would say if he wants to get two, to go with two females, this way they wont fight and they wont mate. if he gets two males, they're most likely going tofight.

I think leopard geckos make better beginning reptiles. They can't climb up glass walls and escape, they are more tolerant to being handled should you choose to do so, and they are still relatively inexpensive.
