So what's up with that? It was their first year producing. Both females had good weight. They were both cooled in the same rack and I used the same male on both?
Oh well here they are,

Now let's just hope since these are the only 4 eggs I'm getting this year that they all hatch and that they are all females and that they all prove to be het for albino. Is that too much to ask?

Thanks guys. Man Jeff I just looked at the pics of the first clutch compared to this clutch and the size alone of the last clutch should have given it away that they were all bad.
Now to hatch them out.
Cheers,
Trevor

Thanks mykee. How are things on your end? Is Jack a father of any ghost yet?

Indeed Chewie. There is no mistaking fertile eggs for duds. But its better you find out yourself than to have all the peanut-gallery folk here tell you.

Hoping for at least 3 females for ya man! :D

That's looking better Trev!! Congratulations!!
You'll notice good eggs always have those little "star burst" patterns on them. I don't know what they are, but you don't usually see those on slugs.
And you're right about the size. Now picture a clutch of 8 to 12, which is common in older females, stuck together in a pile and you'll understand why I cautioned you about shoeboxes being too small.

Congradulations Trevor! 4 eggs are much better than zero eggs :-) Now we know that at least one of your females can produce and the het-albino male is not a "dud" heh..

Keep us posted!!
Bristen.

Thanks guys! This is going to be the longest wait of my life. This is why I like boas. Feed her till she stops keep the cage right and wait to see what comes out. No watching eggs dies or what ever. It's either slugs or babies and find out both on the same day and you're done.

Trevor

I'd rather have control over the eggs (fertile eggs are EASY to hatch) than to have a gravid, crawling, mobile incubator that can and will choose wrong temperatures at wrong periods of time, etc etc. Eggs are a piece if cake. Live-bearers make me pull out my hair in chunks!

Maybe in time my tune will change when I get my first little of boa sweet potatos!
