My very last 2003 honduran heading out West, this guy was fattened up for a customer over the winter.

For all you genetic buffs out there, this little guy's parents were both Tangerines!!! Can you figure out that one?

Eggs are incubating and should be another fun season...

Wow Marc!!

That one is fantastic!!
It is also nice that you're willing to fatten up a snake over the winter for a customer too~

That is why I always say that you're deinitely one of the best to deal with too~~

Now about that genetic stuff....

I am a corn guy...so knows a bit of genetic combo....

but breeding two Tangerines resulting in Hypo Tri Color? LOL....
is Tri Color a genetical gene?

I don't konw..I am not even familiar with milk snake genes...

But any how...that snake is amazing...and it does kind of makes me want to get back into milks...darn you Marc for producing such a nice looking specimen!!

Ugh, Marc! What are you doing...?

Man, here I am patiently waiting for nice weather so he can come over, and you post this?!? I think I've been waiting since November or something like that for him...? And that just isn't helping with the wait, lol. :D

Well, it's been like 6 months, what's another week or so...?

He definitely looks fantastic, can't wait to see him in person - and for those who haven't figured it out yet, Marc is definitely about as good as they get...

Cheers

Will, is he fattening that snake up for YOU?!?!?

I just mumbled some pretty rude things about you under my breath... but it was just the jealousy speaking. :D

Congrats, bud! :)

Thank you all for the kind words...

This guy was produced from a Tangerine Double-Het Ghost pairing who themselves were produced by a Tangerine Hypo bred to a Tri-colored Anerythristic. The tangerine parents being gene carriers for half of the Anerythristic phenotype passed on its Tri-colored gene to this offspring BUT in the Hypo form and hence also 66% possible Het for Anerythism.

Simon - but breeding two Tangerines resulting in Hypo Tri Color? LOL.... is Tri Color a genetical gene?

Tri-colors and Tangerines are two naturaly occuring color phases, now of days, with all the Double & triple het projects you see both phases regularly in most clutches...

Will - Well, it's been like 6 months, what's another week or so...?

When ever you are ready, I can also hold onto him for another 6-9 months and breed him next spring if you want...LOL..
