Hello everyone...

I am sad to inform you all that Girl passed away yesturday afternoon. I returned home from work, prepared her meds and discovered her 'sleeping' in her enclosure. I spoke as I approached only to find that she didn't respond... usually she did.

Girl's battle is over, but I am perplexed as to what went wrong with her. Thank you all for your help in the last few weeks. Even though Girl is in Little Leopard Gecko Heaven, your thoughts and ideas may have helped others with their anorexic geckos.

Rest In Peace, Girlfriend.

So sorry to hear that, but glad that she won't suffer any more. Seems that many people are having leo problems lately with no apparent cause. Generally annorexia is the cause of something more extreme, but I've heard so many stories about leos becoming annorexic only to come back repeatedly with negative fecal results. So sad to try so hard only to have no answers at all. You really did all you could, be satisfied with that:D Take care, and again, sorry about your Girl.

Samba, I'm so sorry for your loss. Just remember you went a million more steps than most people would.

RIP
Girl

So sorry to hear about Girl. :( I'm sure she knew how much you tried to do for her. Wish we could do more for you, but just remember her as she was when she was healthy and how happy she must have been with you.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm still having a difficult time with this... sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to check on her only to remember that she's no longer here. (In case you all think I'm weird, that was a routine for us while I was giving her meds. Once in the afternoon and once at night).

I can easily liken losing my Girlie, as dog or cat lovers would feel, if they lost their companion. I think you all are the only ones who understand the attachment.

Again, thanks for all your help. You've been much appreciated.
