Does anyone have any care info for an adult milksnake? (ie. temps, humidity, enclosure size, etc. ) Thanks.

That I don't know. All I know is it's tri-color. We are buying him from someone who is going on a year long vacation. We won't be getting it for a couple of more weeks, but I thought it would be a good idea to get it's enclosure ready for it. We still have to arrange the sale and everything yet, so I might be able to get more info. They are not too common over here. I've only seen one. Even at the shows, it's mostly corns and balls.

Hey Kelly,

Milks are much like any other colubrid. Hot spot 88, cool end mid 70's, water dish large enough to soak in, and a couple of hides, one on the hot end, and one on the cool end. Overhead heating is not required, natural day light is fine. Feed adults every 7-10 days.

I've always loved them, but have been unable to find them here. So now I'm totally jazzed. Do they stop eating when in blue? OUr corn just started doing this and was wondering if milks also do this. Thanks again. I'll post pics when we get it.

Does that care info even apply to the species that might be in Europe? I admit I'm a snake newbie, but it seems to me that they might have some different ones there than we commonly have here.

Go to Google type eastern milksnake or mexican milksnake it should bring you to a good choice of sites for caresheets etc because i doubt it is a honduran milksnake just by the tricolor you mentioned most hondurans are only red/black no white

Kelly, most snakes, milks included, will not eat when in blue. This is normal. I avoid feeding them during this time.

I've tried Google searches and the care sheets are staying pretty consistent. So I guess I will try the middle of the range for temps and such. Thanks for all of the replies.
