Temps ? and How fast do they grow and how should I house them. I have this gutload stuff dont remember the name off hand but the guy said it was the best stuff he had in the store I dunno I was hoping to get one of those glass tube things they climb into....

Put them in a fairly large container. Do not close off the lid, as you will kill them. If possible, the lid to the container should be screened. I keep them on wood shavings - this allows their poo to fall to the bottom of the container without them stepping in it and rolling in it. In addition, I include a load of egg carton, and of course gutload. I give them potatoes as a water source, and find this allows them to live much longer.
Forget the store-bought gutload stuff. The commercial stuff is filled with all sorts of undesirable garbage, and cricket water sucks too. I just make sure to include a variety of nutritional fruits, veggies, greens, high quality cat/dog food, and sometimes I also make up sort of an oatmeal-type thing with a variety of grains, spirulina and vitamin supplement added. They do not need additional water sources, as they will be able to get it all from their food. Apples, carrots, potatoes, etc., work well for water, but don't offer much in the way of nutrition.
