I had an all red deck that was brutal. My friends hated playing against me when I used the red deck. It was all about offence, with a few large creature up from for defence, and big spells to do damage.

I always loved using black as well. I had a sweet black and white deck. I always hated playing against blue or green.

I've been playing MTG since 1997 and still love it :)

I haven't kept up with the recent expansions but still play with friends regularly. A while back we consolidated all our cards since we only play together into a massive stock (well over 10 000 cards). We have the cards separated into 3 boxes: creatures, all other spells (sorceries, enchantments, instants & interrupts), artifacts and special lands. We draft 100-100-50 cards from the boxes and built up decks and play (basic lands are unlimited).

We've found that this keeps the game quite interesting and the game play fun. All the expansions thrown together makes for creative deck building!

My favorite color to play usually is white, my seconds are black and blue.

Best deck I ever built a few years back was an artifact deck that was virtually unbeatable :D

I used to collect Magic and Vampire back in 94, but got out of it. Some people at work got me back into it for a couple of weeks last year, but it's just not any fun when you play with people who agonize over the perfect deck for all of their waking hours.

I used to back in the day. I was actually ranked in Ontario and won several dozen tournaments. If I continued I would have most likely been top ranked in Ontario as my record was usually quite good. My favourite colour was red, then green, blue, black and white as the last.

MTG man so many memories.....I use to have a legionary weapon deck (all the colors) It just kicked every1 I even played against unglued Big Furry Monster and won lol! the guy was like :jawdrop: and im sitting there smiling it was so much fun recently had to quit though school and things

LOL I have about 10 of the big collection boxes in my basement (some of them alfa's ). ;) I used to play the old school every day but then they started to put out to many new decks it was to much to keep up so I gave up. The last ones I bought was boxes and boxes of beatdown (the best kick *** set)

My favorite colours were red and blue but I used to have all angel and all dragon decks that kicked alot of a$$. I did not realize that anyone else here played it though , it would be fun to make a tourney for the members.
