S. Ontario Herping

Did a fair bit of herping/birdwatching for the past 3 days. I was all over south western Ontario. Didnt have my camera with me much due to the pouring rain and missed some good photo oppourtunities..

1 - E. Milksnake, 39 inches
1 - E. Fox Snake
2 - E. Garter
1 - Melanistic Garter
1 - Butlers Garter
1 - Brown Snake
4 - N. Water Snake

5 - Blue Spotted Salamanders
- Redbacked Salamanders

1 - Painted Turtle

TMTC - Green and Leopard Frogs, Am. Toads
Calling - Gray Tree Frogs

Did most my birdwatching Friday and saw a few new things today for a total around 115 species.

Have any pics of the Fox snake ?
That is one species I wouldnt mind seeing more pics of.

Point Pelee, it's the best spot for birdwatching in Ontario in the spring.

I was at Pelee almost everyday this May. I got pics of Harris's sparrow, piping plover (at Hillman), sedge wren, henslows sparrow and red-throated loon this year and tallied up 7 lifers. Here's the Henslow's sparrow that was at west beach on May 10. I must have seen you there at some point. Where are you from? I live in Windsor, ON

Did you see the LeContes sparrow? We found it pretty quick, it was on the west beach to. We looked for but didnt find the henslows. I was down the 14-15th of May. I live near Hamilton right now and have a place in Windsor for school. You probably saw me and some point, but there were tons of people there that weekend.
