Do you just let them run around or do you keep them in a pen of some sort, do you have pics of your pen, which im guessing you use lol...i wanna do something for my sav so he can get some rays, and hes to small for a leash..:p

Bartman if you look at the pics you can see a black line, that's their leash that i use. We have a pretty big back yard and it's has a privace fence so i just hook their leashes on and take em out.

I would love to build a outdoor enclosure, but that will have to wait until me and my man buy a house.

You can buy leashes small enough to fit an anole! I've seen em at stuff like PJ's pets and private pet stores.

I have built a large playpen for the backyard. The beardies really seem to love it out there, and I cannot complain with a free source of UVB/UVA.

Bartman, I picked mine up at a petstore, i belive the size for them was Medium, but they carry extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large. It has a leather harness that goes underneth them if i can next time i'll get a better pic.

Amy- i would never let mine have free range with out being on a leash or in an outdoor enclosure. These guys can run pretty fast when they want.

When they went out i had the girl and my man had the boy. He loves to run and if he wasn't on that leash he would have made it under the fence and in the neighbors yard and we may have not been able to catch him. They don't step out the door with out a leash or if their going to the vets they have their own carriers.

I used to have an older male bearded who loved to sit in our garden on a 2 foot tall rock. We never used a leash or cage, but these days I would. Luckily he was content to do nothing but sit there for hours on end. :P

Oh. Glad you said something..I am new to the reptile thing...this guy is my first and he is still a baby. I did not know that they would be fast! I guess I will have to go and get a harness so I can let him walk around.

What kind of outside cages can be made so they can play in the grass?
