I would say male as well. The pores are visible and there is a hemipenal bulge.
yep that be a boy i'd say
That looks like a girl because the bulges are quite small for a yearling but if you take a pic while its lying down and lift its tail then I could tell 100%.

I'm on the male bandwagon.
Only one of my males has really defined bulges.
The rest look like the pic.
I'm not 100% sure so don't quote my on this one.
I do think that its a female but I cant be 100% unless I can see it from a better angle. All of my males have large bulges so mabey its just me but it looks like a female. ChristinaM most males dont develop large hemipenes until they are about 10 months old you may be able to see them but I have found that they grow considerably larger after 10-12 months.

My guess is also female. I've got a few females with small bulges and clearly visible pores. All my female blizzards looked like males, and were treated as such until I found eggs... from each one :) If your leo is around a year old, a male would should have functional pores- that waxy goop should be easily visible by now. He'd most likely also be more developed in the 'family jewels' department.

Thanks Matt, my males are all about the same age actually :)
Me thinks just like humans, some males have bigger bulges than others :D
* note, I did not claim 100% on the sex. But I do see male qualities in this gecko. So, take it for what its worth. I'm used to seeing gecko's have sex changes. One min. you swear its male, next thing you know, it's laying eggies LOL.

wow it seems that even the board is having trouble deciding on a sex... I feel much better now. :) And I was thinking about something while reading these posts... Amazon has been kept in a tank with 2 known females with no eggs at all... does that push more towards the female side or small male side? Also the pores aren't really brown like the ones i see on my known male who is a lot younger.
If need be I can take more pictures, just let me know.
Thanks for the help!

OK this time from the first new pic I would say female because it looks like it really doesn't have a bulge

I would say female... I have several girls (Proven egg layers) that people would say they are males. In fact if i took them to get sexed 2 of them would be called males (like always), so i guess it's a good thing i know better.
Where the V pores are there should be geleton/waxy type stuff coming out this time of year if it were a male. At 10 months old he should be sexually mature and ready to breed (for males).
100000000% sure that its a female!!!!!! :D

Why would you put them all together?

Ease of care... one tank means only cleaning one tank, being able to feed them all at once, and less space taken up ( to a point).
it would be 4:1 and i know there are reasons not to do this... like making sure everyone gets enough food and has enough hides but I think it would be a nice thing.
why wouldn't I want to put them together?
Assuming you mean 1.4 (1 male 4 females), as long as the cage is big enough and has enough hides, and you feed enough, they should be fine together.
Also, of course, assuming that the females are adults as with a male in there, you can expect some action :P

that's a female but you should really do some research to figure it out for yourself
