It was hard to take pictures because of the sun. Making it really hard for seeing the snakes in the view finders. It was a blast until the snow came but can't wait till the next count. Actually I will be out befor that and make a point to stop by and look around.
I am off to BC this weekend so I will do some looking around there as well. But here are some pics, enjoy.

He was a smaller one, about the size of a dime

Did you bring any of that sand home with you? I'm sure you did, check the kids shoes and socks, hair, ears, pockets etc....

Yeah, the people who live around here take the Great Sand hills for granted. It does look like we are in the middle of Arabia or Africa at certain areas - but after the oil and gas industry moves in, it will probably look more like Iraq or Iran.

Glad you had a good time, nice pictures - thanks for posting them.

I sent that picture to some environmental friends and some politicians. This is what I said...

so I says
A snake friend visited from Ontario, Jordan Milgrim - 16 years old, and we made sure to go to the sandhills.

Here is one of the pictures he took that I think turned out amazingly. Notice no oil or gas wells in the picture. That would have wrecked it.

Great picture Jordan!

Oops, posted from Sheila's account again.

Doesn't really matter. We both think the picture is spectacular - and would make a good magazine cover.
