You guys did great with your guesses!
Here's the answers;

I played a little trick, but some of you still figured it out :) This is a Red Ackie/Yellow ackie intergrade (V. a. acanthurus x V. a. brachyurus). A perfect example of an intergrade created out of ignorance. Throughout the history of this animal, it was thought to be a pure Yellow ackie, It quite obviously isn't. I have also never seen an Ackie that had such distinct contrast between the occeli and ground colour. I can never seem to capture the full beauty on camera. Truly stunning, and something I'd like to try and reproduce, but I'm in need of a worthy mate.

This is one of my Yellow Ackies (V. a. brachyurus). This is one of my first Ackies I ever bought (raised here from a 2 week old hatchling) and it is part of my High Orange breeding project. It's a little dirty so it looks a little dull. I had to dig it out of a burrow for the pic :)
Now for one more question.......what sex are these monitors? :D
Good luck folks and I'll work on another picture riddle soon (assuming people enjoy playing, that is).
