Constipation

my 9 month old ETB hasnt pooped in 2 months and is obviously full to his vent but in no discomfort and eager to eat every night assuming his usual attack mode postion. I tried exercise and warm bath but no go.....his cage humidity ranges from 60 to 100%. He hasnt eaten in ten days and he is pissed! do I hold out til he dumps? He eats a small meal every 7-10 days.

What works best for us is the "rain Shower". We put them out on the "tree" we built and use the hose on a light, wide spread. If it's too cold outside you can set up in the shower. Some times it takes a 1/2 hour or so of itermittent "raining" to get them to go. I stay away from putting them in a bath because they don't really like it and are more worried about getting out than concentrating on the task at hand.LOL

It took all of 10 minutes of very fine spray in the sun/partial shade in 83F and plop! warm baths didnt work..just made him tense.....
BTW, check out my mother's day gift (my second Scarlet King clutch this year!) scarlet kings and ETBs (the best of both worlds!)
